It is when I make the lowly rise that I am called Gobind Singh
Sawa lakh se ek laraun, Tabe Gobind Singh naam kahaun.
It is when I make one fight a hundred thousand that I am called Gobind Singh)

STORY BEHIND THE QUOTE “CHIDIYA NAL MAI BAAJ LADAWA”

ON 13 April, 1699 …. Guru Gobind Singh ji formed “THE KHALSA”. There was a pet Hawk (Baaj) of guru ji who used to live along with guru ji, that can easily seen in some pictures of GURU GOBIND SINGH JI. So when guru ji was forming(establishing) KHALSA, he prepared a holy nectar Called “AMRIT”. When they just prepared it…. a sparrow came to have a sip of it, and seeing a sparrow the hawk jumped to hunt her. But before the hawk could do that, the sparrow just drank(swallowed) a drop of AMRIT. After then she just banged the hawk(who came to attack on her) and injured him brutally(which was impossible normally), that necter(Amrit) had such a power. That was the time from when, the quote become famous about Guru Gobind Singh ji, “CHIDIYA NAAL MAI BAAJ LADAWA, GIDDRAN TON MAI SHER BNAWA, SWA LAKH SE EK LDAWA, TAB GOBIND SINGH NAAM DHARAWA”
